LightHouse143 LLC ("we", "us") produces video, photography, written copy and websites for small businesses and creators. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your business through our contact form, by email, or on a call.
- Purchase information. When you buy, Stripe processes the payment and passes us your name, email, the item bought and the amount. We never see or store your full card number.
- Scheduling information. If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email and chosen time.
- Project material. Photos, video, logos and text you give us so we can do the work.
- Basic server logs. Our web host records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information.
- We don't run advertising trackers on this website.
- We don't ask for your account passwords. We deliver finished files to you; you publish them yourself.
Why we use it
To answer your questions, quote and deliver work, process payments, keep the records our accountant and tax authorities require, and send you messages about work in progress. We only email you about something other than your own project if you ask us to.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of providers, each handling only what they need: Stripe (payments), Netlify (website hosting), our scheduling provider (calls) and our email provider (messages). Each has its own privacy policy. We may also share information where the law requires it.
Where it's handled
LightHouse143 LLC is a United States company and our providers store data in the United States. Our work is done internationally, so your information may be accessed from outside the United States, including Thailand.
How long we keep it
Project files and messages: while we're working together and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you need the work again. Payment and tax records: as long as United States tax law requires. Contact form messages that never become a project: up to two years.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU, the UK or California you have these rights under laws including the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA, and you may withdraw consent or object to processing at any time. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Your work in our portfolio
We may show work we made for you as an example of what we do, including on this site and on social media. Tell us in writing and we'll leave your work out, or take it down.
Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this page we'll update the date at the top.
